We have found that the Namibian children really like to come to Good News Clubr and are responsive to the Gospel. One thing we didn't expect is that we tend to have more boys than girls in our clubs. Follow this link for more information about our ministry here in Namibia. |
| The northern parts of Namibia are much more "third-world." This is part of the Davelaar's assigned area for ministry. As you can see, the construction of buildings varies from place to place in Namibia. Come see a little of what we saw on our exploration of the north. |

Someone told us we have great sunsets here because of all the dust in the air. Add a giraffe and you get a sunset that cannot be forgotten. A second visit to Etosha National Park and a visit to the coast gave us more memories and more photos to share with you. |
| Our daily life here in Namibia includes much of the same as your life wherever you live. For the kids, at least the ones that go, school is "the" big part of their life. When exam time rolls around the kids spend weeks revising (reviewing) and studying. Many of the children who go to school in our town don't live here, they come because the schools are better than where they live. |

Linda and Brian were both born and grew up in Tacoma, Washington. Before God called us to Namibia, we lived and worked in the shadow of "The Mountain" - Mt. Rainier. Tacoma is also where our children were born and raised, except Kevin who is still a work in progress. If you are curious or would like to have faces to go with the names we may ask you to pray for you will have to wait as I need to update our family information - sorry (October 2008) |
